Presentation

American Public Health Association (APHA) 2025 Annual Meeting. November 2025.

The Forum’s Policy Director, Anne Morris Reid, served as a panelist for APHA’s Action Board session “Mobilizing a Public Health Campaign.” She shared how the Forum is elevating multisector, community-driven partnerships as a model that exemplifies the collaboration that’s needed across the field. She noted that these partnerships function like campaigns, mobilizing action around key programmatic priorities and driving regional and local policy change. Anne also highlighted the Forum’s ongoing efforts to defend against administrative, legislative, and judicial threats to public health, while planning now to rebuild and reimagine a community-driven public health future.

Presentation

National Governors Association's (NGA) 2025 Health and Human Services Advisors Institute. October 2025.

The Forum’s Policy Director, Anne Morris Reid, presented at the NGA’s Center for Best Practices' Annual Health and Human Services Advisors Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which drew representatives from 33 states and territories. As a featured speaker for a session on “Public-Private Partnership Investments in Maternal and Child Health Programs,” Anne explored multisector, community-driven partnerships as an example of leveraging private sector partnerships to improve maternal and child (MCH) outcomes, diversify public funding sources, and/or support anticipated gaps impacting state budgets and related MCH programs.
